COIL Innovation at the CIGRE Session & Technical Exhibition 2026 in Paris
Paris. International exchange, technological innovation and valuable discussions with partners from around the world: COIL Innovation was once again present at the CIGRE Session & Technical Exhibition in Paris in 2026.
From August 23 to 28, 2026, more than 5,500 delegates and over 15,000 experts from nearly 100 countries gathered at the Palais des Congrès in Paris to discuss current developments and future challenges in the energy sector. CIGRE is widely recognized as one of the world’s leading platforms for knowledge exchange in the field of electrical power generation, transmission and distribution.
COIL Innovation attended the event with a strong team on site. Together with our sales team, Co-CEO and experts from Research & Development, we used the opportunity to connect with customers, suppliers and long-standing partners. We were particularly pleased to be supported by our colleague Rick Kimball from the United States, further strengthening COIL Innovation’s international presence.

An Outlook on the Future of Condition Monitoring
CIGRE 2026 provided the ideal platform for COIL Innovation to offer a first glimpse into future developments alongside our established technologies. We presented our new COIL Connect System to selected customers, partners and industry experts.
The solution has been specifically developed for the condition monitoring of air-core reactors and is designed to provide network operators with greater transparency regarding the operational status of their assets. The initial reactions and numerous technical discussions clearly demonstrated the growing interest in intelligent monitoring solutions and digital applications for power transmission infrastructure.
With COIL Connect, COIL Innovation takes another step towards connected and data-driven asset management solutions.
Personal Exchange as a Key Success Factor
Beyond the technological topics, personal interaction remained at the heart of our presence at the event. CIGRE offers a unique opportunity to strengthen existing partnerships, establish new connections and exchange ideas with leading industry experts on current challenges and future developments, all in one place.
The many encounters throughout the event once again highlighted the importance of international collaboration for the energy transition and the further development of transmission and distribution networks.
