Coil lnnovation’s shunt reactors are used to compensate capacitive reactive power generated by lightly loaded transmission lines or underground cables. They can be connected to the transformer tertiary winding or directly to the high-voltage (HV) bus or transmission line with system voltages up to 550kV.
